Amini: Soft recycled-yarn collection for indoors and outdoors

Amini's current indoor-outdoor collection Le Fil Vert ("the green thread") uses a newly developed, sustainable yarn It is made from 100% old PET bottles, is soft, water resistant and can be recycled again and again. The designer Carlotta Fortuna created ten geometric and abstract carpets that look just as good on the terrace as in the living room.

Peyer-Syntex: Indoor-outdoor carpets, homely and robust

Peyer-Syntex's new carpet collection is "full of emotions and exciting colour themes" – and, as usual, available from stock.
With its new Rayon quality, the Hessian supplier introduces a new series to extend the upper end of its product range. The thick machine-woven carpet is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and features a vivid high-low pattern; the light-coloured yarn has a natural look.

Otto Golze: Schöner Wohnen and Astra now also in custom sizes

In order to have the best effect in a room, a rug or carpet needs to be exactly the right size. These measurements, however, do not always correspond with one of the standard sizes available from stock. For this reason Otto Golze now introduces custom-sizeable qualities to the Schöner Wohnen and Astra collections: monochrome rugs and rugs with designs, some with all-over patterns, some with a vintage look.

Dandelion: A pattern inspired by ritual garments

With its kinetic pattern, Dandelion's D-Rug has been inspired by ritual tribal garments from the past. Lithuanian designer Brigita Krasauskaite created the design for the Dandelion rug company based in Manhattan, New York. The rug is handknotted in Afghanistan from Ghazni wool. Custom sizes are also available.

Mc Three: Flatweaves with wool, sustainably produced

With the Pure flatweave collection, the Belgian weaver Mc Three follows the principle "less is more" and achieves great effects with few means: Pure's colour palette consists of exactly two natural shades (beige and grey), and its designs know to impress through clever subtleness, using different weaving techniques to imitate the surface structures of wood, sand, grain fields or tiled floors. The woolly feel of the rugs is due to the fact that the yarn actually contains new wool.

Lenzing: Recycling 2.0 with Refibra technology

Carpet manufacturers have been using Tencel branded lyocell fibres by Lenzing for several years now. These cellulose fibres are obtained from the renewable raw material wood in an environmentally responsible process. Materials made of 100% Tencel fibres are completely biodegradable and can therefore be returned to nature – a closed loop.

Paulig Teppiche: Fine flatweaves, warm tones

The design D 160, whose stripes softly merge into each other, is new to the best-selling Monza collection by Paulig and beautifully comes into its own on the fine virgin wool flatweave. In spice shades such as cinnamon, turmeric, saffron and paprika for example (Monza D 160/11), which provide a cosy atmosphere while the outdoor temperatures are below zero. The rug is available in widths up to 500 cm.

13 Rugs/Rohi: Sustainable unique carpets made of wool felt

The Rohi weaving mill in Southern Germany produces high-quality pure new wool fabrics. The cut-off selvages are not disposed of, but processed into unique rugs by the manufacturer 13Rugs. In a multi-stage felting process, the company creates lively rugs for floors and walls, made of pure new wool and produced exclusively in Germany. The collection comprises 13 unique pieces, which in 2020 have been launched monthly at various retailers.
