Management buyout at Carpet Making

Dutch custom carpet specialist Carpet Making, based in Schijndel, has new owners. Founders Pedro van de Ven and Eric Schevers, who built up the company in 1997, have handed it over to Mark van der Heijden and Kimberley van Geffen-Bouter. Both have worked at the company for years – Van der Heijden for around 20 years, Van Geffen-Bouter for more than ten – and already sat on the management team. Van der Heijden will take charge of operations, while Van Geffen-Bouter will head sales and management. According to the company, customers' points of contact, product quality and service standards remain unchanged, while the new owners say they intend to pursue market opportunities and innovation with fresh energy.
