Belgian carpet specialist Casalis is realigning its company structure from early September, according to a report by industry portal Interieur Journaal. The company will in future focus exclusively on its collections of high-quality carpets, poufs and acoustic products. Its property activities are to be spun off into the separate company Casalis Invest, which has been registered at the same address in the Belgian trade register since 2008. According to Casalis, service for customers and business partners will remain unchanged.
In addition, the Bonnet and Velden collections, designed by Liset van der Scheer, are being transferred to Kortrijk-based textile specialist Kasaro, which has reportedly been producing both lines for more than twenty years and will now also take on full responsibility for them. Design, quality and production method are said to remain unchanged.
With the new structure, Casalis says it aims to concentrate more strongly on its core business.
