The Inter Ikea Group – the global franchise owner and product developer of the Ikea brand – reports stable results for financial year 2025, with both sales volumes and customer numbers up by 3 %. Although total revenue declined slightly to EUR 44.6 billion (previous year: EUR 45.1 billion), average price reductions of around 10 % over the past two years led to higher sales volumes.
“Our strategy of lowering prices is paying off – we’re reaching more people and growing even in a challenging market environment,” said CEO Jon Abrahamsson Ring.
Online retail remains a key growth driver, now accounting for 28 % of total revenue. At the same time, Ikea opened 66 new locations worldwide last year and is preparing to enter the markets in Panama and Costa Rica to further expand its presence across the Americas.
