Mercury Flooring restructures ownership and executive management

Belgian manufacturer MercuryFlooring, known for its mats and carpet tiles, has restructured its ownership as part of a management buy-out. CFO Lorenzo Boulaert, COO Michel Verstraeten, and CCO Alexander Broos have jointly taken over the company. Founder and current CEO Rik Dewinter will remain a shareholder but is stepping down from operational management to focus on strategic support. Broos will take on the role of CEO while continuing to oversee sales and marketing. MercuryFlooring employs around 100 people at its site in Waregem and supplies customers in nearly 30 countries. The company remains focused on sustainable growth, digitalization, and customized flooring solutions.
