Dekowe: Brüder Schlau transfers brand back to founding family Schürholz

The Brüder Schlau Group has transferred the distribution and licensing rights for the Dekowe brand to Grundstoff GmbH, owned by Philipp Schürholz. The move brings Dekowe back into the ownership of the founding Schürholz family and returns the company to its original location in Dorsten, Germany, after it was sold to the Steffel Group in 2007. In future, all key corporate functions such as product development for carpets, stair mats, dirt-trapping and entrance mats, purchasing, logistics and production will be centralised at this site. The aim is to streamline processes and further improve customer service.

The new owner, Philipp Schürholz, points out: "We are particularly proud that almost all of our previous employees are joining us in this transition. Our customers can continue to rely on the same level of service, both in sales and after-sales". The collaboration with the Brüder Schlau Group is expected to be further strengthened in the future.
