Amini: "Made in Afghanistan" event with online auction

Italian carpet supplier Amini is celebrating the opening of the compoany's Made in Afghanistan project in in their Milan showroom on 23 November (6:30 p.m.). The "evening of conviviality and solidarity" will also include an online auction in partnership with the online auction platform Catawiki. Its object is to raise funds for the international organisation Emergency in Afghanistan. Emergency provides free medical care to victims of war, landmines and poverty.

“The situation in Afghanistan, the country where we have our roots and where our history begins, has always been particularly close to our hearts", says Ferid Amini. "We have chosen 42 carpets from the years of the wars that have taken place in Afghanistan to bring even more attention to this tragedy." During the opening night 3 of those 42 carpets will be auctioned off.
