Danish design company Bolia is expanding its store network in Germany. It will open its third Munich store on 16 October 2026, followed by a new location in Mannheim on 6 November.
The Munich store is at Buttermelcherstraße 2 on Gärtnerplatz. Spread over two floors of a historic building, its roughly 420 square metres will show Bolia’s furniture collections, lighting and home accessories. The focus is on Scandinavian design, natural materials and durable products. The brand’s range also includes rugs.
Germany is an important market for Bolia, says Lars Plauborg, Head of International Market Development. The new locations bring the brand closer to its customers.
The openings are part of the company’s international growth strategy. In the 2024/25 financial year, Bolia opened eight new stores in Germany, France, Switzerland and Spain. It now operates more than 100 stores worldwide, in Europe, Australia and Singapore, plus online shops in 30 countries and an international partner network.
