Kibek opens flagship store in Berlin-Spandau

Kibek has reopened its Berlin-Spandau branch as a flagship store following a three-month refurbishment. Managing director Lisa Sachau opened the store together with sales director Manuel Colpo and branch manager Sabrina Römer. The sales area spans 12,500 square metres across two floors. The store adopts the Store Concept 2.0 already rolled out successfully at the Hanau, Elmshorn and Bremen-Brinkum flagship stores.

The new look includes entirely renewed flooring, almost 2,000 energy-saving LED spotlights and around 3,000 square metres of newly built walls, which serve as display space and structure the new product bays. The range comprises rugs and carpets, carpeted and resilient flooring including laminate and vinyl, lighting, home accessories and textiles, complemented by advice and a professional fitting service. More than 40 staff work at the store.

"With our brand, we have created an environment that combines quality, trend and design. Thanks to the new concept, we were able to combine the best of both worlds: a unique, hands-on shopping experience that otherwise only online shopping offers in terms of clarity and convenience," explains Sachau. Branch manager Sabrina Römer adds: "We already gained valuable experience during the intensive refurbishment phase. With our highly motivated team, professional contractors and good communication, we achieved this fantastic result."

Over the next three years, Store Concept 2.0 is to be rolled out to Kibek's remaining twelve stores.
