VME purchasing director Wülfing retires

Peter Wülfing is retiring on 1 September 2026 after six years as purchasing director of German furniture buying group Einrichtungspartnerring VME. Founded in the German city of Bielefeld in 1964, Einrichtungspartnerring VME currently has around 200 shareholder companies operating some 400 furniture stores across several European countries. For 2025, the cooperative reported centrally regulated purchasing volume of €1.37 billion and an annual surplus of €11.5 million. Alongside Wülfing, the group's management includes chief executive Frank Stratmann and fellow purchasing director Jens Westerwelle.
