Die Fachmärkte für Heim-Ausstattung GmbH & Co. Nord KG continues to expand within the specialist home interior retail sector. Operating under the name Heimtex Nord, the company has acquired a total of six former locations from the insolvent Hammer Group and has successively rebranded them. The most recent additions include the branches in Goslar, Wolfenbüttel, and Wernigerode, which complement the existing sites in Peine, Uelzen, and Osterode am Harz. Behind the acquisition is owner and managing director Cornelius Ebel, whose parent company, the Ebel Group, is using the move to build a specialist store network. In addition to continuing the proven full range of broadloom, rugs, curtains, and sun protection, the specialist store chain has also changed its buying group partner. Heimtex Nord now operates as a system partner of the Hanover-based Decor-Union.
