XXXLutz revitalises former Kika site in Wörgl, Austria

The XXXLutz Group is opening a new furniture store in Wörgl (Tyrol), Austria, on 19 March, filling a prominent gap in the regional retail landscape. The company invested approximately €4.2 million in the complete renovation of a former Kika building, which now offers state-of-the-art retail space across 9,500 square metres. According to company spokesperson Mag. Thomas Saliger, the group is making a clear commitment to brick-and-mortar retail in Austria and the revitalisation of existing properties. The site has been fully modernised technically, featuring digital labelling and energy-efficient LED technology. In addition to a full range of products spanning from kitchens to rugs and home textiles, 75 new jobs have been created at the location. With this opening, XXXLutz strengthens its presence in Tyrol to a total of five sites.
