Opti-Wohnwelt Successfully Completes Restructuring

The Opti-Wohnwelt Group will conclude its insolvency proceedings under self-administration on December 31, 2025. Following a comprehensive restructuring—including the closure of 14 locations and the optimization of logistics and lease agreements—the realignment is now complete.

Moving forward, the company will operate 27 stores with approximately 900 employees under the sole management of Oliver Föst. Michael Föst will retire upon completion of the restructuring. The new, streamlined leadership structure is designed to make decision-making processes more efficient.
