XXXLutz: Green light for acquisition of Home24

The XXXLutz Group has received antitrust clearance for the acquisition of Home24. With this clearance, the last outstanding condition of the takeover offer has been fulfilled.

XXXLutz had already acquired more than 92% of Home24 shares at the turn of 2022/23, and now the Austrian furniture giant says it is looking forward to the cooperation, which is to be completed in the coming days. Home & Living e-commerce platforms had to struggle with falling sales last year. For this reason, Home24 had supported the takeover by XXXLutz from the beginning. The Austrian group now sees new growth opportunities for its own business through this step.
