Deutsche Messe: Alexander Wurst is leaving

Alexander Wurst (52) is leaving Deutsche Messe on 30 September 2021, after working for the company for a total of 19 years. Since 2008 he has been responsible for the International Trade Fairs Division with Domotex, Ligna, Interschutz, Labvolution and Didacta. Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Messe, announced that an agreement had been reached with Wurst on the best of terms to terminate his contract.

As early as 1 April, Christian Pfeiffer (44) will head the International Trade Fairs Division on an interim basis and thus be available as a direct contact for the customers of the above-mentioned trade fairs. He will take on this task in addition to his responsibilities as head of the Ligna department.
