Leadership changes at Inter Ikea Group

Inter Ikea Group has appointed two new members to its Group Management Team, effective 1 September 2026. Rob Kelly takes on the role of Retail Concept Manager, responsible for the Ikea Concept and brand, succeeding Dennis Balslev, who retires in December. Kelly joins from Ikea Canada, where he served as Commercial Manager, bringing more than 30 years of Ikea experience. Pontus Erntell becomes the new Chief Financial Officer, moving from Ikea China, where he was Country Retail Manager and Chief Sustainability Officer. He takes over financial responsibility from Henrik Elm, who held the CFO role alongside his position as Operations Manager and will now focus on IKEA operations.
